The 2025 NASCAR season is well under way and Trackhouse Racing's Shane van Gisbergen has qualified for the NASCAR playoff series.

He has already tied up the Rookie of the Year award and won four races. 

D'Arcy caught up with Shane to discuss how his rookie season has been going so far.

Shane van Gisbergen: Kiwi racing driver on the 2025 NASCAR season

The White Ferns have slumped to 1-1 in their T20 series against South Africa as they lost by 18 runs at Seddon Park in Hamilton this evening.

South Africa posted 177/5 and the Ferns got off to a strong start sitting at 63/2 after the powerplay.

However, regular wickets stifled their momentum and they were eventually bowled out for 159 in the final over.

Bowler Rosemary Mair joined D'Arcy to discuss.

Last season it was an 80/20 split between combustion engine and battery, this year it has been changed to a 50/50 split.

There have been several instances of cars having issues and, in some instances, not being able to get on the track.

David Dicker is the owner of Rodin Motorsport, and he joined D'Arcy to share his thoughts.
